Dive Day Day: Jump Into Accessibility 2023

September 13, 2023
Woodland Park Zoo

In 2023, SCAC returned to in-person programming with a sold-out mini-conference. The half-day event covered important accessibility topics including: removing barriers for venue accessibility, neurodiversity in the arts, ASL and captioning, and universal design for learning. SCAC received a lot of positive feedback in response to the program including one attendee’s realization that “accessibility is holistic” and “[we should not] make assumptions but ask what individuals need. Accessibility is an attitude.” See the Jump Into Accessibility: A Deep Dive Day 2023 page here.
